Emergency Financial Assistance

Providing compassionate, dignified support during times of financial hardship.

Pillars Mosque is committed to supporting individuals and families facing unexpected financial challenges. Through community generosity and responsible stewardship, we offer short-term assistance to help stabilize urgent needs.

Helping Our Community in Times of Need

At Pillars Mosque, we recognize that financial hardship can arise unexpectedly due to job loss, medical emergencies, housing instability, or other life challenges. Guided by Islamic principles of compassion, dignity, and responsibility, our Emergency Financial Assistance program exists to support those experiencing temporary hardship.

In compliance with local and federal regulations, Pillars Mosque does not issue personal checks directly to individuals. Instead, assistance is provided by working directly with landlords, utility companies, or service providers to help resolve outstanding balances and prevent further hardship.

All requests are reviewed carefully to ensure fairness, transparency, and responsible use of donated funds.

Types of Assistance We Offer

🏠 Housing Assistance

We work directly with landlords or property management companies to help prevent eviction or address urgent housing-related financial needs when families are at risk of losing stable shelter.

💡 Utility Bill Assistance

Support may be provided to cover essential utility bills such as electricity, water, or gas by coordinating directly with utility providers to help restore or maintain services.

⛽ Gas Cards (Limited Assistance)

In select cases, gas cards may be provided to help individuals travel to work, medical appointments, or other essential commitments during periods of hardship.

All assistance is subject to availability of funds and program guidelines.
