“The Next Generation” is a program designed to train future leaders by incorporating them directly into the building of a new community.  The Muslim Community Center of Charlotte is not about a nice grand building.  It’s about building a community of brothers and sisters who sincerely care for one another and strive to strengthen their connection to God.
Part of this process is to work on creating a community center that fosters this love and encourages spirituality.
Who are we looking for…
  • Young brothers and sisters interested in learning how to build an organization
  • Reverts to Islam who want to build a warm home for future reverts
  • Young parents who want a healthy community for their children
  • Any activist who wants their community center to be a beacon of justice for all
  • Any brother and sister who wants to be part of this future
General Outline for the Program:
  • Introductory meetings – Saturday, Dec 31 and Saturday, Jan 710 am – Lite Breakfast served.  Here we will gather and see where interests lie.
  • Break up into teams – social building, organizational infrastructure, event planning and more.
  • Professional Training by OakTree Institute on non-profit management for all team members.
Don’t let this opportunity pass you by.  It’s your chance to get off the sidelines and get involved.  You will have a substantial impact on the future of the MCC.  Let’s build it together.
