“The Next Generation” @ Muslim Community Center Charlotte
“The Next Generation” is a program designed to train future leaders by incorporating them directly into the building of a new community. The Muslim Community Center of Charlotte is not about a nice grand building. It’s about building a community of brothers and sisters who sincerely care for one another and strive to strengthen their connection to God.
Part of this process is to work on creating a community center that fosters this love and encourages spirituality.
Who are we looking for…
- Young brothers and sisters interested in learning how to build an organization
- Reverts to Islam who want to build a warm home for future reverts
- Young parents who want a healthy community for their children
- Any activist who wants their community center to be a beacon of justice for all
- Any brother and sister who wants to be part of this future
General Outline for the Program:
- Introductory meetings – Saturday, Dec 31 and Saturday, Jan 7 – 10 am – Lite Breakfast served. Here we will gather and see where interests lie.
- Break up into teams – social building, organizational infrastructure, event planning and more.
