Background Check Policy
Ensuring a Safe and Trusted Environment
At Pillars Mosque, the safety and well-being of our community — especially children, youth, and vulnerable members — is our highest priority.
All volunteer leads and staff working in roles that involve interaction with minors or sensitive community groups are required to undergo a background check.
This process includes:
Criminal history and sex offender registry screening
Identity verification
Confidential review by authorized board members
Pillars Mosqu enforces this policy with fairness, confidentiality, and respect.
